Section I: Breeder's Obligations:

This puppy is a purebred Bulldog registered with the FCI (limited or full). Upon execution of this contract, the Breeder hereby convey title and interest in the described Bulldog puppy to the Buyer (except for the terms listed herein).

Doran Bulldogs, from hereon mentioned as Breeder, has made every effort to provide a healthy puppy. Breeder guarantees that all vaccinations and worming are current. At the time of sale, this puppy is being sold as a companion pet. There is no guarantee that the pup will grow up and will be a winning show dog as this depends for a great part on the education and treatment given by the new owner. Pictures of the pup at the age of 4 weeks & 8 weeks will be given to the new owner, so he is well aware of what he is buying. Pictures of both parents are also available. A short summary of this kind of contract basically states that the puppy or adult is sold on a full registration with the FCI or limited FCI registration contract.
Limited FCI registration means that the dog can be registered, but none of it’s offspring are eligible for registration from the FCI. Further by signing this contract, you are agreeing that you will not breed this Bulldog if he is purchased on limited FCI registration.

The pup will be transferred to the new owner on the age of 9 weeks. If for any reason the pup has to reside at the breeders residence for a longer period, an amount of ………………/ week will be charged.

It is the Buyer’s responsibility to have this Bulldog examined by a licensed veterinarian of their choice within 48 hours of the possession of this Bulldog (excluding Sundays and bank holidays). If this puppy is found to have a life threatening congenital dog health problem at this exam, a replacement puppy of equal value will be given if available.
If there isn’t a puppy available, 100% refund of the purchase price will be given, provided the Breeder is contacted immediately (within 24 hours) after the diagnose and this puppy is promptly returned to the Breeder, at no expense to the Breeder, with a signed document from the veterinarian, stating the defect or problem.
Registration papers given at the time of sale must accompany the returned puppy to Doran Bulldogs. Doran Bulldogs will refund the purchase price, pending verification by the Breeder’s veterinarian.

Doran Bulldogs will not be responsible for illness or health problems which are diagnosed after this time period, except were stated in this contract. Doran Bulldogs will not be responsible for Parvo, Distemper or Corona virus after 48 hours of sale, as these are such high contagious defects and they can be contracted immediately after leaving the Breeder. Plus the Breeder has no control on future vaccinations given to this Bulldog or amount of exposure to other animals.

Breeder further guarantees this puppy for 4 months (from date of birth) against life threatening congenital defects. If within this time a life threatening congenital defect is found, Breeder will replace this puppy with another of the same quality and sex. The replacement will be subjected to availability, no money will be refunded.

Doran Bulldogs will not be responsible for illness or health problems which are diagnosed after this time period. In the unlikely event of the puppy’s death in the first 4 months, due to a congenital defect, a statement from a veterinarian confirming such an event and cause is required before any action will be taken by the Breeder. If cause is unknown, an autopsy is required. Under no circumstances is this puppy to be euthanized without Breeder’s knowledge and consent. Under no circumstances will the Breeder be responsible for veterinary or medical bills incurred.

6. All expenses regarding the animal including shipping of the animal, proper care, veterinary fees, housing or legal liabilities are the responsibility of the Buyer at whose home the animal will reside.

7. The Buyer agrees to inform Doran Bulldogs of any titles or awards obtained by the animal for our records.

It is agreed by both parties, should the Buyer ever decide to part with this bulldog, that the Breeder will have first right of refusal to buy it at a mutually price.
Should the Breeder be unable to purchase the animal back, the Buyer agrees that he/she will not transfer the bulldog to a wholesale outlet, dog dealer, broker, puppy mill, commercial breeder, humane shelters, laboratory, pet shop or their agents.

The Breeder will always assist in placing this dog.

Violations of the terms of this contract renders all guarantees stipulated in this contract to be null and void and may result in the Buyer being required to return the dog to the Breeder within 5 (five) days of receipt of notice from the Breeder.

The Buyer will be responsible for the cost of the dog’s transport back to the Breeder. If the Buyer violates this agreement, he/she will be responsible for any/all legal costs the Breeder acquires enforcing this contract.
